A recent article in The Herald Sun revealed that sleep disorders and a basic lack of sleep cost the Australian economy around $5.1bn a year. The study, commissioned by the Sleep Health Foundation and carried out by Deloitte Access Economics found that a staggering $4.3bn comes from lost productivity caused by absenteeism and poor work performance.
The reasons keep mounting - it is vital both for our health (and our back pockets) that we all get a good night’s sleep!
